Spent Easter in a traditional Japanese hotel near Tokyo. the dishes were delicious and the hot spring was relaxing. There was also a beautiful garden to take a stroll in.
The location was not ideal, with very few options for things to do nearby. the language barrier was also a challenge, as no one spoke English and it made communication difficult.

We had an amazing romantic escape to a traditional Japanese inn. The serene and calming atmosphere was perfect for our getaway. The outdoor onsen was our favorite part, surrounded by tall trees and chirping birds. The kaiseki dinner was exquisite, with a range of seasonal dishes carefully presented on beautiful dishes. The breakfast was equally satisfying with a mix of traditional Japanese and international options. The staff was attentive and prompt, providing excellent service.
The inn was a bit pricey for what we experienced, but we expected that since it was a traditional ryokan. , the location was a bit far from the city center, but easily accessible by train.

This hotel experience was fantastic! The room was amazingly spacious with every amenity I could ever want. The onsen was definitely a highlight, with both an indoor and outdoor option that provided a relaxing and authentic Japanese experience. The hotel grounds were also beautifully maintained and there was plenty of areas to explore. Additionally, the complimentary refreshments and snacks were a much-appreciated touch.
The town where the hotel is situated is quite dull with limited nightlife, which may not suit everyone's preferences. Getting around and communicating with the locals was also a challenge, as there weren't many English speakers in the area.
